Yeah, I might be being a bit too harsh towards the earlier books. I remember when you bought the first one and I just glanced at it and went "Oh. A cheap Buffy knockoff." and didn't give it a second thought.
Then I started hearing stories about LKH and the later books...and became very afraid...
